I’m Joe, a design leader, photographer and mentor. I’ve devoted my efforts to building diverse teams that distil complex problems into beautiful experiences, and I advocate for individuals from all walks of life starting in the design field. I’m currently at Miro, leading design for the Collaboration and Ecosystem streams.

Established the UK design practice and grew it from 1 to 6 designers, plus a researcher and a content writer. The team served the second-highest ARR stream and the biggest NPS driver.

Founded the UK design internship program and ran it for three consecutive years, mentoring early-career designers on quality, presentation and storytelling.

- Lead the Collaboration and Ecosystem streams: human-to-human, human-to-agent and agent-to-agent collaboration, within and beyond the product.
- Own the team building MCPs, connectors and third-party integrations, and an MCP Hub that lowers the barrier to entry.
- Took Talktrack from a stalled one-way recorder to a multi-speaker, multi-surface recorder and a context layer AI agents can read.
- Owned the experience for the Messaging platform, and led AI enablement so every designer is comfortable shipping code.
Product Design Manager
- Owned design strategy for Integrations and Automations, Smartsheet’s second-highest revenue stream (~$33M ARR).
- Consolidated three standalone integrations products into one approachable, scalable experience.
- Led a UK re-org that improved user satisfaction, reduced design overhead and made deployment more consistent.
- Co-created the design career growth framework and started the UK design internship program.
Senior Product Designer
- Led the redesign, onboarding and notifications work for the mobile banking app.
- Set the visual and UX guidelines used across the wider Tesco brand.
Product Designer
- Designed and delivered the iCloud.com and Maps Search experiences.
- Took iCloud.com to AAA accessibility in a six-week cycle.
